We are officially done with our basement kitchen remodel.<\/p>\n

DONE!<\/p>\n

We wrapped up all the loose ends yesterday (touch up paint, caulking around corners, straightening outlets, etc.). \u00a0It took a lot longer to do those little things than I thought it would, but we are happy to finally be finished. \u00a0Actually the only thing left to do is buy more stools for the counter, but that can wait until later.<\/p>\n

We have an album of pictures on Facebook if you want to check it out HERE<\/a>. \u00a0I didn’t want to post all the pictures here because I have to resize them and that’s a pain… \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

There were a few twists along the way, as there always are in remodels (surprise! \u00a0That wall you thought was straight is not!) and we ended up going over budget but just by a tad. \u00a0We hadn’t expected to hire out the taping and mudding, but let me tell you–that was money WELL SPENT. \u00a0 I have to say I am super impressed with Tim. \u00a0He really stepped up and pushed himself outside of his comfort zone. \u00a0He literally did the entire thing start to finish (minus the mudding and taping). \u00a0Isn’t he super cool!?!<\/p>\n

And the most exciting part is that we met our timeline. \u00a0Tim wanted to have it finished for the Super Bowl party this coming weekend and it is! \u00a0With a week to spare even. \u00a0So now Tim can shift his attention to getting the Super Bowl food stadium back out and ready.<\/p>\n
