Today is Chloe’s last day of school. \u00a0I feel like we’re one of the last schools to get done this year… which is a huge bummer because we actually start really early this fall (August 22nd), so she’s getting a pretty short summer break. \u00a0But any break is a welcomed break, right? \u00a0(On a side note, we had a big thunderstorm last night and when she woke up it was still pouring. \u00a0She sadly asked me if they were going to postpone the last day of school until tomorrow. \u00a0Ha! \u00a0I told her they would still have school even if it’s raining. \u00a0On our walk to the bus it had finally stopped raining but the thunder was still rumbling overhead. \u00a0Josiah thought that was super awesome.)<\/p>\n

Her comparison pictures are so interesting to me. \u00a0I feel like this was the year that she “grew up.” \u00a0But in reality, I probably feel like that every year… hah!<\/p>\n

We joked with her yesterday that she doesn’t get summer vacation and that we were going to keep her in school all summer–and without batting an eye she said, “OK!” \u00a0She just loves her teacher and learning. \u00a0She brought home all of her desk supplies yesterday and I read through some of her work from the year and she has just the nicest handwriting. \u00a0See….! (Granted, her spelling needs a little work…)<\/p>\n

She also earned an award at school for Artist of the Month. \u00a0I’m not exactly sure what that means, but she got a certificate, so that’s fun.<\/p>\n
