It’s hard to believe that one year ago (almost right now) I started to go into labor. \u00a0We had attended a birthday party that morning and then came home and had naps (yes, me too!) then Tim got ready to go to a Men’s night at church. \u00a0I remember he asked if he should go or not (at this point I was 3 days past due) and I said, “go ahead. \u00a0I’m sure I’ll be fine.” \u00a0Well, a couple hours later I called him up and said he needed to come home… \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

We had a delightful time celebrating Maddie’s Birthday yesterday. \u00a0There was food, fun, laughter, balloons, gifts, a funny looking beehive cake and a delightfully happy one year old.<\/p>\n

We went with a “Bee” theme. \u00a0It was so much fun to try and think of creative ways to use yellow and black. \u00a0Chloe and I had a fun time crafting things–she’s getting to be such a great helper now that she’s older!<\/p>\n

Tim even managed to find her the most adorable yellow\/black\/white outfit for her big day. \u00a0Isn’t she cute?<\/p>\n

And of course, there was fun and laughter while opening the gifts. \u00a0She was delighted by unwrapping the gifts and taking out the tissue paper–it was absolutely adorable and hilarious. \u00a0She would pull the tissue paper out of the bag and giggle uncontrollably. \u00a0 I wish I had taken a video of it. \u00a0I can’t remember another one year old having so much fun unwrapping the stuff as she did!<\/p>\n
