{"id":12123,"date":"2017-09-12T14:51:03","date_gmt":"2017-09-12T19:51:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/?p=12123"},"modified":"2017-09-12T14:51:03","modified_gmt":"2017-09-12T19:51:03","slug":"new-neighbors-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/friesens.inkingmythinking.com\/?p=12123","title":{"rendered":"New Neighbors (again&#8230;)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since we&#8217;ve lived here (coming up on 4 years in October) we have had a TON of people move in and out of our neighborhood. \u00a0If you count just our side of the street there are 10 houses&#8211;and since we&#8217;ve lived here 6 of those houses have been sold. \u00a0And our immediate neighbors (to the north of us) have moved TWICE. \u00a0That means in four years, we&#8217;re on our third set of neighbors.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe it&#8217;s us?<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Nah. \u00a0We&#8217;re awesome. \u00a0\ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>Our newest neighbors moved in the weekend that we were in South Dakota for Grandma Patsy&#8217;s wedding so when we came home we discovered this in their backyard&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/?attachment_id=12126\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-12126\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-12126\" src=\"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/new-playset-next-door-R-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"692\" height=\"460\" srcset=\"http:\/\/friesens.inkingmythinking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/new-playset-next-door-R.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/friesens.inkingmythinking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/new-playset-next-door-R-300x199.jpg 300w, http:\/\/friesens.inkingmythinking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/new-playset-next-door-R-768x510.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 692px) 100vw, 692px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It confirmed our suspicions that they had 5 kids. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42 \u00a0And they do. \u00a0We did finally meet them and they have two older kids (15 and 14 years old) and then three younger kids (7, 3 and 6 months old). \u00a0The older two don&#8217;t seem to be there all the time, but I haven&#8217;t been too nosey about it.<\/p>\n<p>We walk to the bus in the morning with the 7 year old (a girl who is in 1st grade) and she is so sweet. \u00a0She and Chloe get along really well, even though she is a little bit younger. \u00a0And the 3 year old appears to be non-verbal at this time. \u00a0I&#8217;m pretty sure they mentioned him being Autistic, but I&#8217;m not sure what all that encompasses. \u00a0And of course, the 6 month is just tiny yet. \u00a0It&#8217;s definitely strange living next to someone with kids finally. \u00a0If you can believe it, we&#8217;ve been married for 14 years and never lived next door to anyone with kids. \u00a0Our kids are loving having someone to talk over the fence to and play with. \u00a0We&#8217;re slowly learning what boundaries we need to have with playing together and limits and all that. \u00a0But it&#8217;s nice to see someone else in the same stage of life that I&#8217;m in!<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and as a fun tidbit of information: \u00a0It turns out that the husband is a realtor.
