Day Fix Completed!!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><em><strong>I made it!\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Days 20 and 21 were much easier than day 18.\u00a0 I hit the point where I was so close I knew I could make it.\u00a0 Plus I had my Mom&#8217;s awesome encouraging texts over the weekend to get me through.\u00a0 We even attended a birthday party (without kids!) and I was able to stick to my plan and was even able to resist having the delicious cake.<\/p>\n<p>And now = <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong><em>21 days done!!!<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>And I&#8217;m quite pleased with my results.\u00a0 I lost 10.8 pounds and 6.25 inches.\u00a0 I only measured the big spots on my body (waist, hips and belly) so that&#8217;s actually a pretty impressive when you consider that!\u00a0 I lost 2.5 inches on my waist alone!\u00a0 I kinda wish I had measured everything (calves, arms, thighs, etc.) now but, oh well.<\/p>\n<p>But more than just the numbers lost I am incredibly pleased with the results.\u00a0 Here are a few things I have noticed over these past 21 days:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I am happier and feel better about myself<\/li>\n<li>My skin looks healthier<\/li>\n<li>I get fuller faster (much faster!)<\/li>\n<li>I haven&#8217;t had as many sugar cravings<\/li>\n<li>I am drinking a ton of water easily now<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m having more frequent good hair days (weird huh?)<\/li>\n<li>I can fit in my clothes slightly better<\/li>\n<li>I have discovered a few new veggies and snacks I enjoy<\/li>\n<li>My dress pants (in the next size down) fit again<\/li>\n<li>I can stand while teaching again<\/li>\n<li>I now fit in my non-maternity jeans<\/li>\n<li>My energy level is higher<\/li>\n<li>I can go up the stairs without being winded<\/li>\n<li>I feel like I don&#8217;t look pregnant anymore<\/li>\n<li>I was able to not stress eat in the past 21 days<\/li>\n<li>I now enjoy my spinach\/banana\/chocolate protein shake for breakfast<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>So.\u00a0 What are my final thoughts on this program?\u00a0 Would I recommend it?\u00a0 Would I do it again?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Well, I do like this program.\u00a0 I think it is very effective.\u00a0 It definitely helps with adjusting portion sizes and increasing water and vegetables.\u00a0 It has also helped me think about making sure I have some healthy fats in my day.\u00a0 So, in that sense I would absolutely recommend it.\u00a0 However, it was quite the mental challenge.\u00a0 Tim was soooooo ready for me to be done.\u00a0 He was tired of me obsessing about everything I ate.\u00a0 And as you probably picked up from my daily posts&#8211;this is not for the weak of resolve.\u00a0 You need to be wholly committed for the 21 days.\u00a0 I had some bad days in there for sure but was able to muster the will-power to make it through.\u00a0 You need a good support team behind you.\u00a0 Oh, and you need to have a boatload of veggies on hand.\u00a0 So, would I do it again?\u00a0 Maybe.\u00a0 But not for a long time.\u00a0 I&#8217;m more likely to try doing it for simply one
