It’s that time of year again–time to make my Christmas musical candy!\u00a0 I was just commenting to Tim again this morning how wonderful it is to make candy in our extra kitchen.\u00a0 I used to have to make everything in one day because it required me to completely take over the kitchen.\u00a0 Now I’m able to do a little bit over a span of a few days, and it’s not nearly so overwhelming.<\/p>\n

And Tim made me these amazing Plexiglas shelves to go in the fridge downstairs to expedite the cooling process (more shelves to put my chocolates on!) that I just love.<\/p>\n

So, this week is busy… finishing our Christmas cards to get in the mail, finalizing the Christmas recital songs with all my students, making candy and, you know, regular life.\u00a0 Oh, and did I mention Tim is going back to work next week?\u00a0 Yup.\u00a0 The custom made steps were delayed in being cut and shipped, so even though there is snow on the ground here, the home owner is paying to have them come back this next week to finish the steps.\u00a0 Wowza!<\/p>\n

Before I go, how about a really up close picture of Josiah?\u00a0 I was trying to capture his freckles.\u00a0 They are adorable.\u00a0 It didn’t quite work, but I love his genuine smile in this picture because he thought I was being silly.<\/p>\n
