{"id":13291,"date":"2019-01-01T14:59:00","date_gmt":"2019-01-01T20:59:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/?p=13291"},"modified":"2019-01-01T14:59:00","modified_gmt":"2019-01-01T20:59:00","slug":"first-day-of-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/friesens.inkingmythinking.com\/?p=13291","title":{"rendered":"First day of 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here we go.\u00a0 A new day.\u00a0 A new year.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve let go of setting resolutions.\u00a0 But I do enjoy a fresh start.\u00a0 Actually, what I think I enjoy most is a fresh new calendar. I love the new pictures and clean slate that a new year brings.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow the kids go back to school.\u00a0 We&#8217;ve had a fantastic break, doing nothing spectacular but loving it.\u00a0 But I also know how much we will love getting back into the normal routine of school and work again tomorrow.\u00a0 And yes, even the kids will love it.\u00a0 Even if they loudly voice their unhappiness right now.\u00a0 I know better.<\/p>\n<p>My big accomplishment from break was deep cleaning and purging the kids rooms, basement and my bedroom.\u00a0 I took two big loads to good will and many, many bags of trash to the garbage bin.\u00a0 It was wonderful.<\/p>\n<p>Another big accomplishment was the boys finally getting a bunk bed.\u00a0 Josiah has been anxiously awaiting this day for a long time.\u00a0 Levi isn&#8217;t quite ready to transition to a regular bed, but he will this summer when I potty train him.\u00a0 So for the rest of the winter\/spring we decided to simply put his crib under the bed<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/?attachment_id=13293\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-13293\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-13293\" src=\"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/boys-bunk-bed-R-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"402\" height=\"536\" srcset=\"http:\/\/friesens.inkingmythinking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/boys-bunk-bed-R.jpg 768w, http:\/\/friesens.inkingmythinking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/boys-bunk-bed-R-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 402px) 100vw, 402px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here we go.\u00a0 A new day.\u00a0 A new year.
