We had a gorgeous Mother’s Day weekend here.\u00a0 Originally it was supposed to be rainy for most of it, but we didn’t end up with any rain!\u00a0 In fact it was sunny and lovely most of the weekend.\u00a0 So, I took advantage of the sunshine and mowed the lawn for the first time! It’s always a little weird on the first mowing, since parts of it really don’t need to be mowed yet, but others REALLY need it… but it felt good to get it done anyway.<\/p>\n

Then on Sunday we enjoyed a lovely day:\u00a0 going to church, a delicious cup of Caribou Coffee, eating Chipotle (my choice!) for lunch, I took a nap (I know!\u00a0 Super strange for me!), we went on a walk\/bike ride\/roller blade\/skateboading as a family and then Tim took the big kids to swimming lessons while I stayed home and called my Mom and made waffles for supper (and for the next few weeks.\u00a0 I actually made 6 batches of waffles.\u00a0 What would that be called?\u00a0 A Sextuplet batch?\u00a0 Either way, it was a lot of waffles.<\/p>\n

The kids made me cute cards in church and school.\u00a0 Here are the ones from church.\u00a0 I love seeing what things they write about each year.\u00a0 My personal favorite this year is “She give good hugs”\u00a0 \ud83d\ude09\u00a0 Oh and “Her voice is beautiful.”<\/p>\n

Maddie somehow got the wrong impression at church and thought when we got home that she was going to open a bunch of gifts.\u00a0 She was devastated when we told her there were no gifts for her.\u00a0 Ha!<\/p>\n
