{"id":14252,"date":"2019-11-11T21:15:30","date_gmt":"2019-11-12T03:15:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/?p=14252"},"modified":"2019-11-11T21:16:47","modified_gmt":"2019-11-12T03:16:47","slug":"good-book","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/friesens.inkingmythinking.com\/?p=14252","title":{"rendered":"Good Book"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I read a book over the weekend&#8211;it was a fun read.\u00a0 It was written by the wife of the comedian we went to see last year.\u00a0 She discovered she had a large tumor in her brain sitting directly on her brain stem.\u00a0 The book is about how she discovered it, had it removed, and then had to deal with the aftermath of all of that (one of the complications being unable to swallow for weeks).\u00a0 As I mentioned she is the wife of the comedian, Jim Gaffigan.\u00a0 She also does a lot of the writing for him&#8211;so they are both very funny.\u00a0 It was a fascinating read&#8211;especially since I&#8217;ve never experienced anything like that.\u00a0 Plus I&#8217;m not funny.\u00a0 (tee hee!)
