The other morning we woke up to a thick layer of snow\/ice\/frost on the trees.\u00a0 I don’t know what the proper definition for it is, but it sure is beautiful.\u00a0 And this time it was really large ice crystals that gripped to the branches making it even more striking.<\/p>\n

I know that pictures just don’t do it justice, but I had to take a couple anyway…<\/p>\n

Driving around that morning felt like something out of a fairy tale.\u00a0 And it was so still and quiet.<\/p>\n

Simply.<\/p>\n

Lovely.<\/p>\n

In other random news:\u00a0 Tim is making wonderful progress staining all the cabinets for the church remodel.\u00a0 Did I tell you he volunteered to that?\u00a0 Yup.\u00a0 It’s like 24 feet of cabinets.\u00a0 He’s so awesome.\u00a0 And all the tables and chairs for the church have finally been ordered and are starting to arrive.\u00a0 Things are coming together!<\/p>\n

And of course, we’re also rounding the corner towards my piano contest season which is just over a month away now.\u00a0 I’m hoping for an early spring here so we can enjoy eating on the patio during our lunch on contest weekend.\u00a0 Fingers crossed!<\/p>\n
