It was finally sunny outside and I found it just lovely.  When I do online lessons I have to position myself and my computer a bit differently than I do for in-person lessons&#8211;because of light and needing access to books and needing to reach the power supply, etc.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interesting tidbits about my studio:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>~ My studio has been red for the past 18 years (if my math is right)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>~ I&#8217;ve had the lamp in the corner since High School.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>~ My studio faces west, so I get all of that nice afternoon sun. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>~ There are no overhead lights in the ceiling.  So after the sun sets it get really dark in there.  It&#8217;s on my wish list of things we add to the house some day.   For now I have 4 lamps to help brighten things up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>~  There is a creaky spot in the floor right when you walk in, so there is no sneaking up on me when I&#8217;m in the studio!  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This was my view yesterday as I was teaching.
