This is my week off of teaching, which would make it a nice relaxing week, right?\u00a0 Not so much.\u00a0 I spent yesterday and today stressing out about all the things I need to get done before Thursday night because then we leave super early on Friday morning for Luke’s wedding and don’t get back until Sunday afternoon.\u00a0 Which is all fine and dandy, except that I need to have all of my studio stuff done as well, because I start back into my crazy fall schedule on Tuesday… I am thankful that we will have Monday (Labor Day) to get things in order still, but I’m sure by then I’ll just want to do normal stuff.<\/p>\n
So, I’ve made a nice set of lists with a series of things that I want to get accomplished each day.\u00a0 It’s really helped breaking it down by day, b\/c then it doesn’t seem quite so overwhelming.\u00a0 I was able to get everything I wanted done yesterday and everything but 2 things today, so I’m feeling pretty good.\u00a0 Tomorrow will be the kicker b\/c if I can’t get enough done then I’m only left with one day before we leave.<\/p>\n
I’m very excited for this trip.\u00a0 I know I’m probably strange, but I just love flying.\u00a0 And this will be our very first trip without Chloe–which I’m excited and anxious about all at once.\u00a0 I know she’ll be in very capable hands–that’s not what worries me–it’s just that she’s started to enter that “terrible two’s” stage and can sometimes be difficult.\u00a0 I’m just hoping that she’s on her best behavior while we’re gone!<\/p>\n
But for now, I’m off to bed.\u00a0 We have a lot to do tomorrow and Chloe’s excited about seeing the Baker’s again at the beach, so I want to make sure I’m good and rested and ready to handle any “terrible two’s” outbursts.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
