February… <\/span><\/strong><\/em>I was able to help throw a baby shower for my dear friend Shannon!\u00a0 I even made her a diaper cake.\u00a0 It was such a blessing to be able to celebrate with her especially after having 2 miscarriages.<\/p>\n March… <\/span><\/strong><\/em>was pretty much a blur.\u00a0 I was so crazy busy with state contest stuff that I don’t remember much.\u00a0 Looking back at pictures, however, I did discover that March was when the flooding started.\u00a0 Remember the flooding?\u00a0 Yeah, this was the FIRST flooding of the year…<\/p>\n April…<\/span><\/strong><\/em> things started to warm up and start to get green.\u00a0 Nothing much in this month except I must have gone to a few early garage sales because I came across this picture…<\/p>\n May… <\/span><\/strong><\/em>little Xavi was born!\u00a0\u00a0 I was able to drive up and see Shannon in the hospital and hold Xavi for a while.\u00a0 Ah, newborn babies… \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n June…<\/strong><\/em><\/span> I helped with the Honor’s Concert.\u00a0 Actually I was the Usher Chair, which I only agreed to do for one year… but the concert itself was awesome.\u00a0 It’s breathtaking to hear 20 piano’s being played at the same time.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Also this month marked the end of the school year and the start of my more relaxed summer schedule.\u00a0 Yippie for summer break!<\/p>\n July… <\/strong><\/em><\/span> Kylene & Justin came up from South Carolina for a visit on their way to a family reunion.\u00a0 Then Chloe and I joined them to visit Grandma Fritz.\u00a0 It was a fantastic trip–so many memories I had a child were just like I remembered them.\u00a0 This month I also participated in the Annandale Triathlon (just the running portion) which was a hoot.\u00a0 I’m not fast, but at least I finished!<\/p>\n <\/a> August… <\/span><\/strong><\/em>I ran in the Winsted 5K with Nathan & Amy.\u00a0 It was a drizzly chilly morning but we persevered an I finished in a great time for me (under 30 min. if I remember correctly).\u00a0 Tim also took me to see “Wicked” at the Orpheum Theatre, which was AWESOME!\u00a0 The rest of the month was used for wrapping up summer lessons and gearing up for the Fall.<\/p>\n September… <\/strong><\/em><\/span> Luke & Krista got married!!!!\u00a0 It was a beautiful wedding and such a delight to be there.\u00a0 The only downside that I can remember was the Justin & Kylene’s hotel room smelled so badly of smoke that they had to move to a different hotel at 11:00 pm.\u00a0 But other than that it was a wonderful weekend–and such a pretty town!\u00a0 Also at the beginning of this month Chloe broke her forearm.\u00a0\u00a0 She got to wear a big pink cast for a month and then a purple half cast for another 2 weeks.\u00a0 Very exciting.\u00a0 And she seemed to love it.\u00a0 Weird, huh?\u00a0 Oh, and it also flooded again, this time reaching a higher level than it did in the spring.\u00a0 Flooding twice in one year–unheard of!<\/p>\n October…<\/span><\/em><\/strong> Tim went out to visit his Grandma & Grandpa in South Dakota to help them get ready to move.\u00a0 That’s my hubby–such a hard worker!\u00a0 \ud83d\ude09\u00a0 Chloe and I stayed home so we weren’t in the way… Oh, and we had our annual pumpkin party, which is always a blast (albeit a little chilly).<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/erica.jpg\" "\\"erica\\"")
