This morning I had another prenatal checkup.\u00a0\u00a0 Everything is going well and seems to be right on track.\u00a0 I’m measuring one week ahead of schedule but that’s consistent with last time, so I’m not at all worried.\u00a0\u00a0 Chloe got to come with me for the first time today–all winter Tim has been home to watch her while I went to my appointments.\u00a0 Well, I guess she did come to our first visit when we heard the heartbeat for the first time, but Tim came along as well so he was able to entertain her.\u00a0\u00a0 This time I had her bring along her backpack with books so she would have something to occupy her while I was talking with the midwife.\u00a0 She did really well, but kept asking a lot of questions, but I suppose that’s normal for a 2 year old.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

I’m pleased that even though I’m heavy I don’t have the awful symptoms (yet!) that I eventually had by the end.\u00a0 I’m sure they will most likely come again, but I’m happy that I’m starting into my 30th week relatively “normal.”\u00a0 I don’t have carpal tunnel, or terribly swollen feet, or PUPPS… see, I have so much to be thankful for!\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
