About a week and a half ago I was putting Chloe down for the night and after reading her a bible story I asked her if she wanted to pray.\u00a0 She said yes, so I asked her what she wanted to pray for.\u00a0 Usually she says a family member (such as Nana, Bumpa, me, Tim, Bakers, etc.) or things she likes (such as her giraffe’s or crackers).\u00a0 But she thought about it for a while and said she wanted to pray for my PUPPS.\u00a0 I was a bit surprised and asked her again, just to be sure.\u00a0 Yup, she wanted to pray for my itchy PUPPS.<\/p>\n
“Dear Jesus, thank you for PUPPS… ” and then she went on and on with a lot of words I couldn’t quite decipher until … “Amen.”<\/p>\n
I smiled at her and said thanks.\u00a0 Then I prayed for her and my PUPPS as well before tucking her in and kissing her goodnight.<\/p>\n
Well, wouldn’t you know–my PUPPS are now gone.\u00a0 I’m hesitant to admit this because it seems once you say something like this then it mysteriously reappears, but it’s been a good week now and my skin is clear.\u00a0 I haven’t had to use any type of cream for over a week and a half.<\/p>\n
Who knows if it was the prayer of my two year old that helped heal my body, but who’s to say it wasn’t?<\/p>\n
I feel incredibly lucky.\u00a0 Or maybe I should call it blessed.\u00a0 It is a tremendous blessing to not have to worry about how awful the PUPPS might get this time.\u00a0 They did appear a bit earlier in my pregnancy this time around so I was anxious about having to deal with them for almost 2 months before my due date.\u00a0 And now, it seems like I won’t have to!\u00a0 Or at least I can enjoy not having them for now.\u00a0 I suppose there is always the possibility that they could reappear, especially in this incredible heat… but you never know.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
