Dare I say “Fall” yet?\u00a0 Well, with the cool breeze blowing through the windows as I type this, I would say it certainly feels like Fall.<\/p>\n
Today we have family pictures scheduled at the Arboretum.\u00a0 I’m very excited to see how the pictures turn out.\u00a0 Plus I’ve never been to the Arboretum, so it’s a win-win situation!\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 And it couldn’t be a more perfect day to be outside.<\/p>\n
We had to actually close some windows last night because it was supposed to dip into the 40’s.\u00a0 Brrrrr!\u00a0 I’m excited that the weather is turning chilly–fall is my favorite season.\u00a0 I’m looking forward to pulling out the sweaters and long sleeve shirts.<\/p>\n
Yesterday evening we had the Petersen’s over for supper.\u00a0 It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to get together (probably about a year and a half) so it was a lot of fun to catch up.\u00a0 Plus we got to see their little boys who are now 4.5 and 1.5 years old.\u00a0\u00a0 Chloe had a great time playing with them and we had a great time socializing (and JD had a great time sleeping).\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
On Saturday we had the opportunity to go to the Renaissance Festival here in town–we were given free tickets and found a sitter (yay!).\u00a0 We enjoy going every couple of years and had a delightful time just leisurely meandering around eating a variety of foods.\u00a0 I admit I tried eating a turkey drumstick all by myself and I failed miserably… I was only able to get through about half of it.\u00a0 But what I was able to eat was sure tasty though! \u00a0 The other highlight of the trip was the lotion candle I picked up.\u00a0 But I’ll had to write about that tomorrow.\u00a0 For now I’ve got to get ready to go!\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
