We had a great day yesterday celebrating Chloe’s 4th Birthday.\u00a0 Here were a few highlights from our day:<\/p>\n

* Awesome birthday crown (generously loaned to us from her cousin Allison for the day)<\/p>\n

* Chocolate Chip Pancakes for breakfast<\/p>\n

* Special Birthday Questionnaire<\/p>\n

* First day of “Pre-school” with me<\/p>\n

* Set up and helped me with the garage sale for the morning<\/p>\n

* Made a pink heart shaped cake<\/p>\n

* Lots of lovely phone calls and messages (which Chloe just LOVED)<\/p>\n

* A trip to the park<\/p>\n

* Celebrated turning 4–by having gum and lettuce!\u00a0 She decided a while back that when she turned 4 she would eat lettuce, so that’s just what we had!\u00a0 And now she can have gum, too.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

A new Pre-school book--she was so excited to start! <\/p><\/div>\n

Gum Gum Gum!<\/p><\/div>\n

Our first day of "Pre-school" was outside since we were watching the garage sale<\/p><\/div>\n

She also got a purple stuffed kitty (in her basket) and we were experimenting with different training wheels...<\/p><\/div>\n

Lettuce--with two different salad dressings to try<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Heart shaped pink cake<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

And, of course, I couldn't find the birthday candles.... so we used matches<\/p><\/div>\n

She didn't like the enormous amount of smoke that was produced by the matches... haha! The face cracks me up!<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
