I was up bright and early to head to the polls before Tim left for work at 7:15.\u00a0 I decided that, since our location is only 5 blocks away, that I would walk… Which was really pleasant.\u00a0 Well, the walk there<\/span> was pleasant.\u00a0 When I got there the line was already crazy long.\u00a0 I was voter number 71 and I would guess almost all those people were already in the room by the time I arrived.\u00a0 So… it took a lot longer than I expected and I had to RUN back home in order to get Tim off to work without being seriously late. \u00a0 But it was so worth it–especially since I really didn’t want to contend with 2 small children amongst the lines of sour, impatient voters.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

So, my civic duty is done.\u00a0 I’m very curious what the outcome will be–but I’m not at all up in arms about any of it.\u00a0 This is all in God’s hands.\u00a0 He puts people in authority so I will accept whomever He wants to have there.\u00a0 But I’m still curious.<\/p>\n

In other news I’ve been seriously inspired by all of my Fritz side women \ud83d\ude09 to get back on the weight loss bandwagon.\u00a0 So, here I go (again!). \u00a0 Today was hard–I’m so out of practice.\u00a0 I’m eating before I’m even aware that I’m eating.\u00a0 Gah!\u00a0 And I discovered how often I snack on the kids food–again, without even noticing I’m doing it! \u00a0 But I stayed on track.\u00a0 And I was very hungry by the time supper rolled around.\u00a0 It’s amazing how normal food can taste SO GOOD when I go back on a diet!\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
