I am thankful for our house.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s easy in the midst of a house hunting to quickly forget how luck we are to own a house in the first place.\u00a0 I am truly thankful to have this house&#8211;it has served us well for a long time.\u00a0 We have fabulous memories linked to living here that we will forever remember.\u00a0 Our kids will remember &#8220;our first house&#8221; and &#8220;our tiny yard.&#8221;\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 We&#8217;ve done a lot of experimenting and learning with home repairs in this house&#8211;some worked just like we planned and others, not so much.\u00a0 It was a learning experience in opening up 100 year old walls.\u00a0 You just never know what you&#8217;re going to find!<\/p>\n<p>But mostly I&#8217;m thankful for the comfort and security of knowing this is our home.\u00a0 This is where we feel safe and can be completely ourselves.\u00a0 I love it.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_5812\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/house-3-spring-05.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5812\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-5812\" title=\"house 3 spring 05\" src=\"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/house-3-spring-05-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"http:\/\/friesens.inkingmythinking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/house-3-spring-05-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/friesens.inkingmythinking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/house-3-spring-05-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-5812\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">This was taken in 2005--how often do you step back and take a picture of your house?
