Thanks to Tim and Dad working this weekend we are the proud new owners of a cute rectangular hole in our ceiling at the top of our stairs.\u00a0 Nice work guys!\u00a0 They did encounter a few snags along the way (which is really no surprise in any home repair project…), but were able to finish it up in one day.<\/p>\n

We left it “unfinished” in case we needed to make the hole bigger… now Tim can trim it out and I’ll paint it white<\/p><\/div>\n

And this afternoon the appraiser\/inspector came BACK to look in our “attic”… which actually turned out to be about 15 inches or so (at the peak!) of space.\u00a0 Not even enough room to put your head and shoulders up into… good grief!\u00a0 Anyway, she came back to check to make sure it looked secure and had insulation.\u00a0 And it does.\u00a0 So, after apologizing for having to come back, she said it looks good.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Now we just wait to make sure the closing date is still August 30th.<\/p>\n
