“HAPPY LATE FATHER’S DAY!”\u00a0\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 Yeah, I’m a bit behind the ball… but I’m extra thankful for my Dad and for Tim.\u00a0 I love you both!<\/p>\n

I forgot to post the past couple of days because we have been so busy having summer fun!\u00a0 I’ve decided that I really want to try and be more proactive at trying new things and doing crafts I’ve always said “I’ll do when I have more time…”\u00a0 So, if you’re familiar with Pinterest, I’ve decided to try and to a Pin-A-Day.\u00a0 Or thereabouts.\u00a0 If I miss a day I’ll maybe try and do an extra pin the next day.\u00a0 But this could be ANYTHING–just something that I saw somewhere on the internet and said, “Huh, that’s fun.\u00a0 I want to try that.”<\/p>\n

For example I tried this….<\/p>\n

…. years ago and I still use it to this day.\u00a0 It’s very handy.\u00a0 I use it on the top of my mini chocolate chips that I put in the kids pancakes.\u00a0 It works like a charm.\u00a0 And I found that idea on Pinterest.<\/p>\n

Oh, yeah!\u00a0 And the Time Out \/ Glitter bottles!\u00a0 I found that idea on there too!\u00a0 Remember?<\/p>\n

Anyway that’s what I’ve been up to.\u00a0 You can follow along with my Pinterest things on the right-hand side link “100 Pinterest Attempts” and if something is very monumental, I’ll post about it here.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 (Or if there is a certain item you want me to post on, just ask!)<\/p>\n

Today I want to highlight two skirts that I made for Chloe over the weekend.\u00a0 Keep in mind, I’ve never sewed a skirt for Chloe.\u00a0 And I’ve never done a skirt with an elastic waistband attached directly to the skirt.\u00a0 It was tricky business!\u00a0 Well, it probably would have been easier if I had actually read the directions, or had directions.\u00a0 Yeah, this crazy lady decided to just “make it on a whim!”\u00a0 So, all that considered… I think it turned out well.\u00a0 And Chloe thinks it’s the bomb, so that’s really all that matters.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
