I’ve heard about the park called Chutes and Ladders before.\u00a0 I remember thinking that was a funny name for a park.\u00a0 In fact I think I asked if it was a REAL place. \u00a0 Apparently, it is.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

After looking at the pictures and reading a little about it I thought I knew what to expect.\u00a0 In reality, it’s a bit more “squashed” together than the pictures show.\u00a0 I was, however, pleased with how most of the areas were safe–except for the obvious places–everything was well contained with mesh, etc. for the little ones.\u00a0 One thing the review mentioned was that it’s easy to lose kids.\u00a0 And I must say a resounding YES.\u00a0 We went with our friends from church, so there were 6 kids–and because of unfortunate accidents (whoops: bloody lip, whoops:\u00a0 Josiah didn’t make it to the bathroom in time) the other mom and I were standing watch over 5 kids alone while the other mom ran off to fix the accident.\u00a0 And let me tell you!\u00a0 I was actively watching the kids and I still kept losing kids.\u00a0 By the time we left the playground felt like a buzzing bee hive with kids running and sliding and tumbling out of every nook and cranny.\u00a0 It was a bit crazy.\u00a0 If I thought I was going for a relaxing morning, I was wrong.<\/p>\n

But all in all it was a great trip.\u00a0 The kids really loved it.\u00a0 We even brought along a picnic lunch to finish off our outing–complete with chocolate chip cookies!<\/p>\n
