Yesterday we had some friends over for a “homemade ice cream + homemade waffle cone + sprinkler party!”\u00a0 It was on my summer to-do list.<\/p>\n

Homemade “No Churn” Ice Cream<\/p><\/div>\n

We had 4 flavors of ice cream:\u00a0 1) Mint chocolate chip, 2) Vanilla, 3) Chocolate, 4) Blueberry Cheesecake.\u00a0 I enjoyed 3 of the 4 flavors immensely… not so much the mint chocolate chip.\u00a0 It was made of all “healthy” foods and was too bitter in my opinion.\u00a0 But we had a great time tasting the flavors and making the waffle cones.\u00a0\u00a0 So the kids played in the sprinklers for a while and then ate ice cream for a while and then ran through the sprinklers again to clean off all the ice cream!\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

And today is my birthday (yay me!) so we’ve done all sort of exciting things:\u00a0\u00a0 killing Japanese beetles, Chloe drew me a nice card, went out to eat for breakfast, went on a 3 mile run, enjoyed some caribou and then Tim got off work early!\u00a0 So, we’re about to enjoy a delicious dinner and I think I heard something about ice cream cake!!<\/p>\n
