{"id":8870,"date":"2015-02-05T12:00:39","date_gmt":"2015-02-05T18:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/?p=8870"},"modified":"2015-02-05T11:16:55","modified_gmt":"2015-02-05T17:16:55","slug":"superbowl-fun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/friesens.inkingmythinking.com\/?p=8870","title":{"rendered":"Superbowl Fun!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We had a big superbowl party on Sunday&#8211;it had a large number of people and a large quantity of food.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Tim had an idea to make a food stadium.\u00a0 He found the idea online somewhere and decided it would be fun.\u00a0 So he did it all from scratch and has been working on it for almost a month, planning and putting the different pieces together.\u00a0\u00a0 I admit I was a bit skeptical about the whole thing and I told him if he wanted to do it fine, but that I didn&#8217;t really want to help.\u00a0 Well&#8230; that didn&#8217;t last for long.\u00a0 We ended up working on little projects here and there together and, even though I didn&#8217;t want to admit it at first, I really did have a good time helping him.<\/p>\n<p>In order to fill this massive unit with food, Tim came up with a &#8220;seating chart&#8221; of different foods that could go in the sections and each family signed up for what they wanted to bring.\u00a0 That really helped to relieve the stress (and cost!) of trying to fill it all.\u00a0 Plus it really helped to build a sense of unity in everyone helping to make it complete.<\/p>\n<p>And, in the end, it turned out awesome!<\/p>\n<p>Want to see pictures?\u00a0 OK! \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re curious there are 33 items to eat on the table.\u00a0 33!\u00a0 But this doesn&#8217;t even count\u00a0 a variety of items that wouldn&#8217;t even fit&#8230; I think there were 5 or 6 more things on the counter beside the table.\u00a0 Did I mention it was a lot of food?\u00a0 But then again there were 30 people here, so we needed a lot of food&#8230;
