I had my studio recitals last Saturday.\u00a0 It went wonderfully.\u00a0 And, even though I was mostly sure that the baby wouldn’t come early, it’s still a relief that I made it. \u00a0 And this time I had a ton of Seniors doing their last recital.\u00a0 I always get nervous when I have to talk extra at the end and to honor the seniors I had them each come up and gave them flowers and gave a little speech about them.\u00a0 (Actually I gave flowers to the girls and a little cactus to the guy–he thought it was really funny.)\u00a0 And after the final performance (by my most advanced student who is a Senior and graduating) she gave a moving speech to me and a bouquet of flowers.\u00a0 She talked about how she was ready to quit piano before she came to me and how she was able to find her passion in piano again and encouraged the younger students to hang on.\u00a0 It was so sweet!<\/p>\n
I also had my very first student graduate that I’ve had the entire time.\u00a0 She started back in 3rd grade and I’ve been teaching long enough now to see a student all the way though school! \u00a0 I went to her grad party this past weekend and she made a shadow box commemorating her years in lessons.\u00a0 I loved seeing it!\u00a0 She had her first recital picture along with her last recital picture.<\/p>\n![\"spring](\"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/spring-rectial-400.jpg\")
