{"id":9330,"date":"2015-06-12T15:18:42","date_gmt":"2015-06-12T20:18:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/?p=9330"},"modified":"2015-06-12T21:08:55","modified_gmt":"2015-06-13T02:08:55","slug":"zebras","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/friesens.inkingmythinking.com\/?p=9330","title":{"rendered":"Zebras!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/zebra.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9335\" src=\"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/zebra.jpg\" alt=\"zebra\" width=\"960\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"http:\/\/friesens.inkingmythinking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/zebra.jpg 960w, http:\/\/friesens.inkingmythinking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/zebra-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I know you&#8217;ve probably been on pins and needles waiting to find out what animal we had decided on for this newest addition.<\/p>\n<p>What!?!<\/p>\n<p>You weren&#8217;t?<\/p>\n<p>You forgot about the animal?<\/p>\n<p>Well, let me refresh your memory.\u00a0 I like to give each child a &#8220;theme animal&#8221; to decorate with and have as a stuffed animal to cuddle.\u00a0 I pretty much force it on them when they are little putting it in their crib at every naptime, and then like magic, they suddenly have a comfort animal that they LOVE for the next few years.\u00a0 It becomes the &#8220;thing&#8221; they need to sleep with and provides them with comfort when they are upset.\u00a0 It&#8217;s actually really awesome.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve witnessed both Chloe and Josiah being inconsolable when I put them down for a nap and they both take that stuffed animal and hug it (and sometimes cry right into it) and suddenly they are able to calm down and eventually go to sleep.<\/p>\n<p>Chloe has <a title=\"Giraffe\" href=\"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/?p=94\">giraffes<\/a> and Josiah has\u00a0<a title=\"Tigers!\" href=\"http:\/\/amadeusacademy.com\/family\/?p=2862\"> tigers<\/a>, and in keeping with the jungle theme, the baby girl will have zebras.<\/p>\n<p>So, if you find any cute Zebra stuff, feel free to send it on over!\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I know you&#8217;ve probably been on pins and needles waiting to find out what animal we had decided on for this newest addition.
