I decided this week to try and do something fun every day for the kids to help pass the time, and give them something fun to do.\u00a0 Especially since soon we won’t be doing much at all since we’ll be stuck home with a newborn.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

So, I told the kids every day we would go on an “adventure” and I won’t tell them what it is until we either get there or we are in the van.\u00a0 They are thoroughly enjoying it.\u00a0 Here’s what we’ve done so far:<\/p>\n

1. Trip to the Biggest Candy Store in Minnesota (the yellow barn just down the road in Jordan).\u00a0 I let them pick out one thing to have as their own.<\/p>\n

2. Play date with the Tindalls and then we delivered a meal for a family at church.\u00a0 It was an adventure b\/c I had never been to their house before.<\/p>\n

3. Bowling!\u00a0 First time ever for Josiah and only the 2nd time for Chloe.\u00a0 Josiah was OVER THE MOON excited about it.\u00a0 Then we picked up a pizza and had lunch in the park.<\/p>\n

4. Tour of Shakopee’s Parks!\u00a0 This was the adventure for today.\u00a0 I printed a map and chose 7 parks to go to (Shakopee has about 25 parks not including development\/townhome parks).\u00a0 I picked only ones on this side of town that were larger.\u00a0 We spent 10 min. at each park then ran back to the van and drove to the next one.\u00a0 They thought it was AWESOME!\u00a0 Here are the picture highlights:<\/p>\n

I didn’t notice\u00a0 until I uploaded the pictures that Chloe seems to have her hands the same way in almost all the pictures.\u00a0 Haha!<\/p>\n
