Yesterday was my Fall sign-up day.\u00a0 It’s a crazy morning, but like always, it feels so good to have it squared away for the rest of the year.\u00a0 I opted to do sign-ups a week later this year in hopes of giving families more time to figure out all the other activities everyone is doing.\u00a0 Schedules for sports aren’t always out yet so many people don’t know what days practices are or even meets.\u00a0 So, I tried to hold off a little.\u00a0 I haven’t had any feedback yet if it was helpful or not but at least I tried!<\/p>\n
Today we enjoyed a delightfully lazy day.\u00a0 It rained most of the day so that helped put us in a relaxed state of mind.\u00a0 We meandered around the house, colored for a while, pulled out all the new toys they got from their birthday party, watched a movie tonight and I even let them go out and play in the rain for a while.\u00a0\u00a0 Oh, and I’m pleased to say I even squeezed in a low key workout video during their quiet time.<\/p>\n
Tomorrow we have one of the nannies coming for a “trial run” with Maddie.\u00a0 It’s easier if they can come once before the school year starts so I can have time to talk them through things now that there will be THREE of them to watch.<\/p>\n
