Chloe came bounding home yesterday with a smile on her face. \u00a0All the anxiety and fears from the morning had clearly evaporated away.<\/p>\n

Whew!<\/p>\n

She even got to see her teacher from last year (Mrs. Connell) and give her a hug. \u00a0She said that was nice. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42 \u00a0You should have seen the smile on her face as she recalled it–which tells me it was much more than just “nice.” \u00a0I think it was just what she needed.<\/p>\n

Josiah has been loving being home alone again. \u00a0The first thing he did yesterday after getting home from the bus stop was try on her new sparkly shoes (from her Birthday) and walk proudly around the house. \u00a0Then he made a fort and put together a giant puzzle all by himself (twice!). \u00a0And at naptime he exclaimed that he liked sleeping by himself in his room. \u00a0Ha!<\/p>\n

Next Wednesday we start BSF again. \u00a0Josiah is so excited to see his teachers again. \u00a0In fact he has Mrs. Jeanne again. \u00a0She has moved up with his class every year, so she’s literally had him since the very first day Josiah has gone to BSF. \u00a0I think he was just 2 months old when he started coming. \u00a0He was even a part of her wedding last summer! \u00a0I’m going to have to get a picture of the 2 of them together. \u00a0He just adores her.<\/p>\n
