\"Chloe<\/a><\/p>\n

Before you read about how sad and unhappy Maddie has been I thought I would make you smile with adorable picture of Chloe from this weekend. \u00a0We attended Pajama Birthday Brunch Party and the kids got to wear their jammies. \u00a0It was super cute. \u00a0(She has donut in her mouth… haha!)<\/p>\n

Maddie has been a bit off for the past couple of days. \u00a0I had chalked it up to teething or just having a mild cold or the fact that she had started on solids… but it wasn’t adding up. \u00a0Last night she (and in turn Tim and I) slept TERRIBLY. \u00a0She would wake up every 30-45 min. crying out in pain. \u00a0You should know that she doesn’t normally cry much at all, so this was even more alarming to us. \u00a0We were able to get her into the doctor’s office this morning and he discovered her right ear is filled with puss. \u00a0Luckily it doesn’t sound like it is a ridiculously bad infection and it’s contained to just one ear. \u00a0So she’s on medication now and we’re hoping she’s feeling better soon. \u00a0I don’t think she has a very high pain threshold, so the ear infection was making every other “little” annoyance or uncomfortable thing–like gas bubbles–unbearable for her. \u00a0Hence the screaming out last night. \u00a0At least, that’s what I’m guessing. \u00a0With babies it’s always a guess.<\/p>\n

I’m glad this is happening now and not on our family trip over Thanksgiving–no one will be fighting to hold her if she screaming! \u00a0\ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
