The other day my student (she’s in 3rd grade) decided that THIS would be the best place for her music.  I laughed and asked where her hands would go then… she declared that they would just have to play around the book.  And so she did.

She’s also the student that looked at me one week and exclaimed, “Why do we only have piano once a week?  I miss you so much then!”

I thought the kids were goofing around being wild in our room and instead I found them snuggled in our bed reading Josiah’s Bible.

So. Sweet.

Things have definitely picked up in terms of “crazy contest stress” around here. Phone calls, emails, scheduling fiascos, you name it. But hey! Contest is one week from Saturday, so that’s really not too bad. I can totally do this!

But I haven’t had time to write anything. Sorry! I guess you’ll just have to guess how life looks here right now:  Imagine life with 4 kids, a crazy busy Mom, Tim starting back on bids early since it’s been so nice, and trying to keep maintaining the Fritz weight-loss challenge… can you see it in your head?

Nope. No snow.

Not even a dusting.

Nada.

Well, earlier in the week we were told we were probably going to get some snow on Friday. That escalated this week into, “we might get an EPIC snowstorm that will make history!” and now that it’s Thursday night and the snow is actually coming…

…we might get 3-5 inches. If we’re lucky.

We’ll see. I’ll believe it when I see it….
