We have a Maud Hart Lovelace All-Star in this house! Yup! Chloe has officially finished and passed all the tests for the 10 MHL nominated books! TEN BOOKS!!! And she finished them before Thanksgiving even!
Let me tell you, we have made huge leaps and bounds in her reading this year. She went from dragging her feet to willingly sitting down with a book. Major progress. Here are the 10 books. I’m still way behind her… she passed me up about a month ago and hasn’t looked back. Ha!

I am very proud of you, too, Chloe! That is quite an achievement. It sounds like you just buckled down right away and read steadily until you were finished. It takes a very determined person to do that, particularly when the deadline is so far away. Determination is a very useful trait – you will go far in life with such great determination.
