Even though it’s not terribly warm today (34* but above freezing–whoo hoo!) it is gloriously sunny outside. It makes me smile.
We looked at the forecast for the next few weeks and decided that it’s not going to go below zero anymore, so I tore down the plastic from my studio windows. I was very pleased with how well the plastic worked and I’ll have to remember to do that again next year, but it’s so nice to be able to open the windows and air things out again.
We have big plans for tomorrow: clean out the garage. I’m excited because it’s supposed to be in the 50’s (heat wave!) so it will be a wonderful day to spend some time outdoors and get that done.
The snow continues to melt quickly. We put a stake in the giant snow bank a few days ago to mark how much it’s melted every day, and I’ve taken a few pictures. After tomorrow’s warm day, I’ll post the progression. It’s quite amazing how much it has gone down every day. Plus I just love progress pictures. 🙂
