I spent 4 1/2 hours cleaning the rental house today and mowing (and bagging) the lawn. We are planning to do our final walk through this week and turn in our keys and hopefully get our large security deposit back.
I was really dreading going back there to clean, but I must say that it feels really excellent to know it’s done. And we can move on now. 🙂
I didn’t realize it wasn’t done yet. What a project! But I hope you get the whole amount back. You couldn’t have damaged anything in that short time!
I think going back and cleaning our rental after moving out was the thing we dreaded most. You worked hard on sprucing up that place– they should give you more than your deposit back!
