Sunday was the first day of spring. So in celebration of that we got 10 inches of snow yesterday.
Ha!
The kids all seemed a little in disbelief, and I will admit I was surprised that we got as much snow as we did. In fact, the funniest part of this whole ordeal is that it was a very narrow area that got hit by the snow. Just above us and just below us didn’t get any snow. But, lucky us, we sure did!
Tim snapped this picture at about supper time:
And then Jennifer took this picture this morning. This one truly highlights the amazing difference in just a little distance. The top photo is her house taken as she was leaving and the bottom photo is at her work in Minneapolis–only 20 min north. Wowza!
Sorry to have to admit, but we look like the bottom picture today. In fact, the sun has even been out all day – absolutely beautiful day, although a bit chillier than last week. And they are like you as close as Bloomer. Six inches there, I think, and much more in Eau Claire. I feel guilty… But, like you said, every storm front ends somewhere.
