Guess who made it into 5th Grade Student Council?
This girl!!
She tried out for student council in 3rd and 4th grade and didn’t make it in, so she went into this year feeling a little dejected. It’s a hard lesson to let your child learn that just you might be wonderfully suited for something, you may still not get to do it… and in this case it was a hard lesson to learn 2 years in a row. But this was her year! She will do an awesome job, I’m sure, and is THRILLED to finally get her chance.
Yea! That’s exciting! Way to stick to it! And I’m sure that she is going to do awesome!
