It’s hard to believe a week ago I was at wits end with the potty training thing. I can’t believe how far Chloe has come in just a week and a day. She has now advanced to using the big toilet (without the insert) and can hold herself up. She can also use restrooms at restaurants and stores. She tells us when she has to go without us having to remind her too often. And most importantly…. (drum roll please) she finally went #2 on the toilet today! This is a huge deal. Tim didn’t want to say she was officially potty trained until she had done that… so yippie!!!
In other news I’m suddenly realizing how my vacation is quickly slipping by. I can’t believe we’re already into my second week of vacation! I spent today getting minor stuff done–I have a huge list of odds and ends to wrap up. Tomorrow I have big plans of meeting up with Shannon for lunch which I am super excited about. Then this weekend I’m meeting up with some high school friends (Sat) and having the Fritz Christmas (Sun). So many fun things!
Today Tim started working on his new Train Station that I got him for Christmas. Well, in all fairness he ended up buying it himself for himself from me, but you know what I mean. Tim said the model is a bit labor intensive… See the box on the arm of the couch? Yeah, that’s what it’s going to become. 🙂 After many hours of intricate glue work and being careful not to lose any pieces!
Tomorrow I’ll post the Friesen Christmas picture we took on Saturday.
Oh, man. I bet Tim’s glad he got the one that said “Some assembly required”. As opposed to the REALLY hard kit that read “Comes as a solid block of plastic; chisel included!”‘
Huh. Got hung up on the picture. Congrats on the potty training. That’s awesome!
I just knew she would catch on in a hurry once she figured out what you wanted! Good job. Only one week!
