I can’t believe January is half way over already–where has the month gone? I feel sort of like a broken record when it comes to time… I feel like it’s moving so much faster these days. yikes! So much to do and (seemingly) so little time.
It snowed almost every day this week. Not a whole lot each day, but enough to make the roads quite slippery and need to shovel for my students. I bought Chloe her very own shovel the other day (at Cub foods of all places, haha!) and she really likes it. The only thing we discovered is that it’s a little bowed so it doesn’t scrape very thoroughly, but she doesn’t care. We were letting her use our big shovel, but she couldn’t really move with it as soon as it was filled with snow. And while that is quite amusing to watch she tends to get frustrated. 🙂 So the small shovel is much nicer.
Tim picked up some plastic for me to cover my studio windows, so I’ll finally be able to find out if that will help in how cold it gets. I’m very hopeful that it’s going to make a big difference… we’ll have to wait and see. I suppose the first step would be to actually put up the plastic now… hmmmm…
And in random news, we’re doing a new series at church called “I was broke, now I’m not” so for the service this morning we did the song “If I had a million dollars.” It was a hoot.
