ERICA— I am happy to announce that I am just about totally over my sickness.  I feel just about back to normal with the exception of a slightly stuff nose and some “gunk” in my lungs.  It’s wonderful.  This week started rough for me getting used to Tim being gone but by today I’m feeling the groove starting to set in.   It’s just a different mind set–and like my Mom said, I just need to plan better.  🙂  And I like planning.  So, it’s all good.  And it’s amazing how much more I get done when I get up 2 hours earlier!

CHLOE— Chloe is officially better from being sick.  She doesn’t have any type of cough anymore and she’s sleeping much better (as are we all!).  She’s adjusted well to Tim being back at work.  In fact she loves this time of year because every day she get to play with the nanny after her nap–it’s 2 hours of uninterrupted play-time focused completely on her.  What’s not to like!?  Her new thing is playing with her toys and changing voices with every toy.  It’s fun to listen to.

TIM— Tim’s first week back to work has been good–with the exception of being sore and sunburned!  It’s amusing to see him sunburned in April–it definitely makes me look more pasty white!  Since it’s still early in the spring there are weight restrictions on the roads, so it’s a bit tedious getting materials to the work sites.  He ends up having to make multiple trips back and forth–but we’re thankful that he’s working nonetheless.   He’s still struggling with just a tiny bit of lung tightness still, but he’s much better too.  I’m happy that we’re all on the mend.

DENDE— Dende is doing very well.  You still wouldn’t be able to tell he’s sick by looking at him.  However, his medicine makes him unbelievably hungry and thirsty.  It’s a bit annoying.  He’s so food driven that if I leave something on the counter after a meal he’ll lay by the counter for HOURS in hopes that me might get it.  He also lays by his food dish for a good hour before it’s time for him to eat.  Silly dog.  Since the food obsession has set in he’s gained a bit of weight.  He’s a bit tubby now.  It’s a good thing it’s nice again outside because it keeps him moving through the day.  Plus he gets to go over and play with the neighbor dog too–a good way to burn off some energy and fat!

BABY BOY— Well, I can’t say for sure how he’s doing… but things seem to be fine.  I think I’ve officially passed the huge point of being pregnant.  I’ll post a picture tomorrow.  My belly is definitely protruding now; there is absolutely no question I’m pregnant anymore.  He is much more active lately and strong enough to actually move my belly when he kicks.  I have another appointment in two weeks.  I took my glucose test last month and I haven’t heard anything back about it so I’m assuming it was normal.  I was a bit worried about it since I seem to get sleepy after eating too much sugar…  I’m excited for garage sale season to start up soon.  I need to get moving and start stocking up on boy stuff or else he will be a very “girly” boy in all of Chloe’s old clothes.  🙂
