It feels like a whirlwind of a day. We were up to see Tim off to work and then had breakfast (homemade cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting that I attempted to make yesterday–they turned out just okay. I know what to do differently next time…). Then we were out to door to run errands. We needed to stop at the bank, do some clothes exchanges for Tim and then stock up on groceries for the month at Sam’s and Walmart. It was a fantastic trip, but it took up all morning. It just takes me longer to waddle through stores these days. Plus you sprinkle in bathroom breaks for her and me and it turns into an all morning affair. 🙂
We made our way home and Chloe happily helped me unload the car and I started the long process of finding space for all the groceries. Then we had lunch and I started on the crock pot chili (thanks again Kylene!) and corn bread for supper. I finished just in time to put Chloe down for her nap and then shower and get ready for my lessons. And I happened to have a gap in lessons right now so I could actually sit down and put my feet up for a few minutes which feels awesome…
Oh, and as we were perusing the baby section at Walmart I happened to see this adorable Tigger stuffed animal. I restrained myself from buying it… sooooo… if any of you are looking for an adorable gift for the baby, I would highly recommend this. 🙂 Chloe and I both loved it.
