Chloe and I made a trip over to visit Nana & Bumpa yesterday (we had a fantastic time, but I’ll write about that tomorrow) but we didn’t get home until after 10:00… which meant I didn’t get to bed until almost 11:00. Then we were all up early like normal, which left me completely drained this morning. We had another prenatal appointment this morning. This marks the beginning of weekly appointments for me, which is exciting–it means the end is near! She said everything looks fine, although she did comment about the baby being really low, which would explain the pressure/pain. Anyway, after the appointment and a few errands we were back home and I was literally counting the hours until I could put Chloe down for a nap and take one myself. I finally decided to head to bed an hour earlier than her regular nap time, but she didn’t seem to mind at all, and I was totally burnt out. Two hours later we were both much better and had a fantastic rest of the afternoon/evening doing yard work and planting flowers. It was a great end of the day, but now I’m wiped again… so off to bed!
I’ll write more tomorrow.
But before I go–here’s a picture from our trip yesterday. I found this amusing because I’m pretty sure this is the biggest hosta I’ve ever seen!
She can sure produce a smile on command! I remember the look on her face just before you told her to smile (just after I said it was a child eating plant), but you could never tell by looking at her! She looks just as pleased as punch to be standing in front of those huge plants.
