I don’t have any good reason for not posting yesterday except that I just plain forgot. We made a round of errands yesterday late morning into the afternoon and then I enjoyed some down time while she was napping. Then I taught a couple of lessons after supper and spent the rest of my evening getting contest music ready for my older students (who want their music so they can start working on it over the summer). I’m happy to get them started on it if they’re motivated so even though it took me a long time last night, it was worth it.
Today is the 21st which means we are officially past the middle of June. It’s crazy how fast June has gone for me. But it’s not really a coincidence… I have been trying to plan trips to see people and take care of big projects so I don’t go crazy just watching myself balloon up. 🙂 I was rubbing my belly today as I was feeling the baby kick and I was reminded how happy I am that I don’t have PUPPS anymore. I am so much happier than my miserable, itchy self my last month with Chloe.
In other news we went out on the boat this past Saturday. Jen really wanted to go fishing but the weather was a bit uncooperative–raining on and off most of the day. It did finally clear up enough to head out on the lake after Chloe’s nap and we had a good couple of hours on the water (although we did get rained on for a bit…). Chloe had a delightful time. Especially since we were able to stay out for longer than 5 min. this time! Jen even caught a fish (that we took a picture of and then released) which was exciting for Chloe.
Wow, that is a big fish! I’ve never caught one that big.
