Today is my official due date.
I had my appointment this morning and everything looked pretty much the same. We set up an ultrasound for next Friday to make sure everything is still fine with the baby, but neither the midwife nor I think we’ll actually come to that point. I actually think I’ll have it this weekend for sure, but we’ll see. In fact, I would be delighted to have it this weekend because my favorite midwife (the one who delivered Chloe too!) is on call starting tomorrow afternoon. So, we’ll see. 🙂
I spent the last little while going back and rereading the posts from around when Chloe was due and born. It was interesting to read about how different life was back then. If you remember, I did a LOT of puzzles back then… I was a bit puzzle crazy. But it definitely helped to pass the time! I also played piano a lot more during her pregnancy–which I can’t do this time because it hurts my back and hips. 🙁 At my last appointment with Chloe I was 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced and today I was 3 cm dilated and 50% effaced, so I’m very close to the same.

I hope that you get to have your favorite Midwife delivery baby #2 too! 🙂 Is it just me, or are you aging in reverse? You look younger in your more recent picture. Hmmm…. If you are aging in reverse I will have to be let in on your secret!
Wow!! Great comparison picture! I find it funny that you are wearing blue with Chloe and Pink with baby boy!!! Right…or am I mixed up…it’s been a long day! I hope baby comes this weekend too!!!!
