So, it appears my website has been hacked. That’s why everything is in italics (Mom, it appears the same thing has happened to your site as well…so once I figure out how to fix mine I’ll work on yours as well). Tim thinks it’s just a robot and nothing serious–but definitely annoying. Unfortunately it’s going to take a lot of brain power for me to fix it, so I’ll have to work on that this weekend… I don’t have the energy to deal with it today.

Nathan could probably look at it for you if you wanted him too. Or he could tell you where to look for answers.

There’s an open tag in the outer wrapper for the page. Probably inserted into the template.
I’d be happy to clean it up for her tonight.
In the meantime, she should make sure wordpress is updated to the most recent version and make sure her computer antivirus is up to date.

Yup. There’s a hidden div in her page with a link to a payday loan site.
I was going to say, “Oh, good. Now I know it isn’t something I did.” But after reading Nathan’s posts, I’m nervous. But basically my site is your site, so when yours gets cleaned up, does that clean mine up, too? Hope so.
