We’ve had a little snag with the buyer on our house. It hasn’t fallen through or anything, but he didn’t qualify for the type of loan he wanted so he’s had to switch to an FHA loan. This means that the appraisal will also be another inspection… and apparently the regulations are a bit more strict than a normal inspection.
Ugh.
I hate inspections on our VERY OLD house anyway, and now we have another one…
So, we’ve been given a few items that we will need to take care of before the appraiser comes on Wednesday.
Can you guess which one I’m most frustrated about?

We’ll be praying that the appraisal goes well. Sound stressful.
It looks like it is for the best, though. That little area always worried me! Sorry you have to do it, though.

I would just go straight across parallel with stair form the stair to wall, 16″ and done. then it can only be used for decorations because it as a landing it is a shelf. just an idea. Mom would probably agree to do the whole area as planned. It is not an easy fix so good luck. dad
