Nursery Remodel!

I don’t think I ever did post any pictures of our Nursery Remodel.  It took weeks and weeks of work, so I admit when we were finished I just walked away from the project, relieved to be done.

Here was the before picture…  also keep in mind this used to be a movie auditorium, so the floors had to be leveled first, then the walls put up and ceilings put in…

This is just around the corner from the entrance. The shape of the nursery is a giant "U"

And YES. Each blade of grass was hand-painted on the wall. I made giant stencils that we used.

Having never designed a nursery before, and getting to pick literally EVERYTHING in the space… I’m quite pleased with how it turned out.

It is such an inviting and engaging place – something new to enjoy around every turn. And so gender-neutral. You did an awesome job designing it and putting it together, with great help, I’m sure. Having such a “put-together” place must make parents more comfortable about leaving their kids there, because they know that their kids are a priority to the people who put that space together for them.
