Today is chilly.
Quite a bit cooler than the past couple of weeks. We’ve had a wonderful Fall this year with dozens of delightfully warm and beautiful days, so walking to the bus this morning was a bit less enjoyable. I was looking out the windows this afternoon and I realized the clouds and wind make it look like snow weather. And believe it or not… it didn’t bum me out.
I do enjoy the first snowfalls of the season. And as a whole I do enjoy snow–just not so much the continued cold. Snow is so pretty and white. And even though the days are shorter in the winter, the snow reflecting the sun makes it very bright outside when the sun is actually out. 🙂
But enough about winter…. How about one more adorable picture of us enjoying the beautiful fall weather… enjoying it before it’s gone for good!
I’m pretty much with you on the snow. Even at my age, I get totally excited by the first real snowfall of the season (not the ones when you can barely see it in the air). But for me the biggest downside is the ice when I’m walking. It is just so easy to get hurt when outside in the winter and be out of commission for months as a result. That is even worse for me than the dark days, although the dark days are definitely hard, too.
