- First Monday of Spring break! We had some church friends over this morning and the kids played hard. Very fun!
- We’ve finally decided on paint colors for the basement.
- Did I mention that I’m painting the basement while the kids are away?
- Thank goodness for paint sample cans!
- Yesterday was really windy–it acted like a huge blow-dryer evaporating all the snow away (again).
- Tim is working again. Mostly doing bids, but he’s starting to be gone most mornings. No nannies just yet, but soon…
- Josiah is singing at the top of his lungs right now. He’s supposed to be sleeping. Hmmmm….
- I’m 28 weeks along this week.
- We registered Chloe for her first ever trip to Big Sandy Camp (later in August). She’s excited (and a little nervous). 🙂
- Chloe started to pack this morning to go to Nana & Bumpa’s house. She was bummed when I had to remind her we don’t leave until tomorrow
- Mom, I thought you might find this article interesting. It’s about a study done on the most effective practice habits for musicians. I liked it. 🙂 http://www.bulletproofmusician.com/8-things-top-practicers-do-differently/
- Speaking of Mom–pray for the situation at the Senior Center. There’s a meeting tonight and action needs to be taken. It’s beyond ridiculous and pains me to think about the stress and pain it’s causing.

I enjoyed the link. Once again, slow practice wins out. I copied it for sharing with my students that it isn’t just me that suggests practicing more slowly to learn the piece faster.
