Broken Tooth Club

I have officially joined the “I broke my tooth on something soft” club.

It’s a sad day.

It was not a club I wanted to join.  I was eating boneless wings tonight and my back molar broke in half.  So, now a trip to the dentist appears to be in order.  And I predict a root canal and crown in my (very expensive) future.  We need to find some good, affordable dental insurance.  Fast.

Have you checked out dentalplans.com ? They have some discount plans that might work for you. Call your dentist first and ask which discount plans they accept and then you can price the plans on the dentalplans site. I think you can use it the day after you buy it.

So sorry, but inevitable because Dr. Caple put in very large fillings. Ah, to have perfect teeth with no fillings. Why do you think a root canal, though? Is it infected?

Thanks for the tip Amy. We’re looking into it today!

Mom, all of my other crowns have required a root canal, so I just assumed this one would too… but I could be wrong. 🙂
