I am happy to report that my pesky top molar has FINALLY been removed.
WHOOOO HOOOO!!!!
I’ve had nightmares about this whole ordeal… And I’ve been anxious for weeks. I think the anticipation of the unknown was the worst.
And the fantastic news was that the extraction was actually amazing short and painless. I did have to wait for almost 25 min. for them to come back after putting in the novocaine which was awful–the anticipation building as I listened to horrible sounding drills across the room. But once he came back the extraction process was done in probably 2 min. I was prepared for much worse and much longer.
Now I just have to be careful what I eat for the next 3 days to make sure it heals up properly.
Oh, and the other good news is that I was able to make another appointment while I was there to take care of two more fillings. And it’s only 2 weeks out. I want to try and get all the dental work done while I have this insurance coverage!
PTL!
